I love tutoring!

I offer an initial FREE one-hour class so that you can decide if you or your child would like to work with me!
I am a NATIVE American English speaker with 60+ years of speaking English in the United States.

For 10 years, I was a "home stay" family. I hosted students from all over the world who were interested in an English Immersion program. By day, they went to school, and at night and on weekends, I assisted them with homework. I also taught them English and American culture.
I have a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, also known as Behavior Psychology. I have been trained to teach the most difficult of students, some of whom have challenging behaviors.
I am an experienced tutor that gets results!
I tutor people of all ages, from very young to very old.
For the convenience of my customers, I hold all sessions on Skype. This way your child doesn’t have to leave their home or travel to the sessions.
I customize my lessons for each student.
I assist with writing composition, proofreading, researching and public speaking!
Free test of your current knowledge included.
TOEFL/TOEIC/GED/IELTS - I can assist you with preparation for these tests.
I often use “The Communicative Approach” to teach English. This means that I create real-life situations with my clients. We use imagination and talk about our experience. For example, I may suggest that we go horse-back riding together. Using imagination, we discuss our shared experience of riding a horse.
I also use traditional ways of teaching English, in addition to “The Communicative Approach.”
For example, research has proven that students learn more when they are asked when questions. I ask lots of questions!
I offer a FREE one hour session so that you can decide if you’d like me to work with you or your child.
I accept payments through Paypal.com. You will need to set up a PayPal account, then select “Send Money.” Please ask me for my email address. That is all you will need to send me a payment.
I will pay for any transaction fees that PayPal charges. For example, if the fee I charge you for working with your child is $450, you send exactly that. PayPal charge will be about $20 and I will pay that fee. So you pay $450 and not $470.
I offer package rates, which are much cheaper than individual class rates.
The classes can be for 1 hour or 1.5 hours.
